YOGA

Our yoga takes place in an old chapel and the estate yoga shala. The shala is surrounded by the stunning Tuscany landscape, 11th century castle and a wine vinyard.  Our daily yoga practice will have a focus on a variety of Asana, Pranayama (breath control), and meditation coupled with Shakti (energy) work. The Asana practice will include elements of alignment focus, moving mudra meditation and focus on bhandas leading to a safe and enlightening yoga practice. Kathy designs every yoga class for all levels ensuring it is challenging when needed but retaining its playfulness.  Our interactive workshops on various topics are your opportunity to be supported and inspired to go deeper into your own practice. This retreat will revive you not only in body, but mind and spirit...

The diet on these retreats will be a traditional yogic diet with some local Tuscan additions.

Time Out For Yourself

There is a huge difference between going on holiday and going on retreat. Even the word itself tells us that it’s all about stepping back, going inwards, and allowing yourself time to recharge.

Most retreats will encourage you to leave the outside world behind, step away from all stresses and drains on your time and energy, and instead put your focus on personal growth through experience.
Price excludes flights, the nearest airport is in Pisa. It is very easy to get the train to the area.

It is the perfect balance of effort and surrender-nurture yourself with challenging Vinyasa yoga in the mornings, then explore your personal practice and some fun advancements.  It is all suitable for all abilities.

Classes

The Vinyasa will be creative, flowing and challenging. Included in the 3 nights are workshops covering partner yoga, the 8 limbs of yoga, chakras, arm balances and inversions, and pranayama.

The retreat setting allows for plenty of individual guidance so that we’ll be able to work with your specific level and requirements.
